About
Visual artist and musician Jim Brown started Memory Bulldozer Recordings in 2008 with the belief that music and art are essential to the survival and evolution of consciousness on earth and because music and art communicate through an emotional language, they bypass the intellect, allowing for a tactical sensory experience to engage an individual prior to intellectual analysis. As an active participant in the underground arts and music scene, where his ideology coalesced, Brown has the unique advantage of bringing both modes of expression together manifesting his “Heart Mission.”
Jim has partnered with his long-time friend, John Wall, former member of the punk group, Kerosene 454, and co-director of the D.C. indie label, Slowdime Records. Together they work to promote the Memory Bulldozer mission.
